For 12 consecutive years since 2008, the Environmental Professionals Training Institute（EPTI） has been sponsoring the "Environmental Dedicated Personnel and Technicians". Up to this year, 120 Professionals and Technicians have been recognized for their outstanding performance in environmental protection. To accommodate a diversified industry sector, this year is divided into seven groups. Including in dedicated air pollution control personnel, dedicated wastewater treatment personnel, professional technical personnel for clearance and disposal of waste, professional technical management personnel for toxic chemical substances, environmental agent professional technicians, personnel for soil pollution assessment investigation, and dedicated personnel for indoor air quality management. The criteria for the selection including environmental protection planning and responsibility, achievements in environmental protection, and promotion of public awareness of the importance of environmental protection work. The recipients of this year's（2019） include 10 Environmental Dedicated Personnel and Technicians. Striving to enhance environmental quality in Taiwan, the EPTI has published the Summary of the Winners for Excellent Performance in Environmental Protection, which outlines the experiences of these Dedicated Personnel and Technicians. In addition, allowing the winners to share their experiences in promoting environmental protection.
